About the event

This presentation explores a fundamental technique used in all hydrology evaluations.  The presentation assesses standard methods used to estimate the time it takes rainfall runoff to travel amid specific watershed characteristics.  The study compares Manning’s sheet flow coefficients with watershed percent impervious surface, rational method coefficients, and NRCS’s soil curve numbers.
