There are thousands of stormwater basins that were constructed prior to water quality regulations and it is often difficult and cost prohibitive to retrofit them to meet new water quality requirements. This presentation will focus on how a new technology that uses filtration instead of relying on settlement can be used to cost effectively retrofit many basins to meet 80% or better TSS removal efficiency.
