As a new feature to Storm Water Awareness Week, we will be spotlighting different regions within the greater storm water community and world. For this year’s third of three spotlights will take our viewers to Raleigh, North Carolina. Known as the “City of Oaks” Raleigh has a rich history dating back to 1792 with a current population of nearly 500,000. We will get a taste of southern hospitality as the City’s storm water management team shows us ways in which they are preserving the beautiful surrounding environment and quality of the local water resources but at the same time addressing issues that arise from growth and new development.
