On July 1, 2020, Total Maximum Daily Loads (TMDLs) went into effect for applicable Industrial General Permit (IGP) facilities in California. For permit holders in affected watersheds, this can mean additional monitoring and revised discharge criteria for sediment, metals, bacteria, nutrients, and other parameters. This webinar will introduce attendees to key TMDL terminology (TNAL, NEL, MMP, TSO, etc.), provide information on TMDL guidance in attachment E of the IGP, offer training on navigating the IGP Map Tool, and present solutions for characterizing pollutants and, if needed,   implementing treatment options to reduce pollutant loads.
