This workshop will focus on how community-based programs and public engagement support stormwater pollution prevention and compliance efforts. It will explore common sources of pollution such as litter and illegal dumping, and highlight practical strategies municipalities and organizations can use to reduce these impacts through education, outreach, and cleanup initiatives. Attendees will gain insight into how behavior change and community partnerships play a critical role in protecting water quality and supporting broader stormwater management goals.
