About the event

This presentation includes a literature review of sources of copper in stormwater runoff. These include industrial, municipal, residential/commercial buildings and other sources of copper. The regulatory discharge limits and ambient water quality standards for copper are reviewed. The industrial and construction General NPDES Permit limits and other regulatory effluent limits for discharge are reviewed. Some case studies are presented including dewatering from basements with groundwater seepage, airport stormwater discharge and other industrial discharges.  Then some lessons learned are summarized.
