Event FAQ

Q: When is this year's event?

A: Storm Water Awareness Week 2026 is occurring September 21-25, 2026.

Q: Do the workshops in this event qualifying as continuing education credits?

A: All of the workshops may be valid for continuing education but attendees should check with their professional organization to confirm if the workshop meets that organization's particular requirements.  No attendance certificate is provided by Storm Water Awareness Week, documentation should consist of the registration confirmation email and workshop ticket, a description of the course provided by the attendee, and/or a link to the recorded workshop.

Q: How long are the workshops?

A: Each workshop is 1 hour in length.

Q: Are these workshops being recorded?

A: Yes, all our our workshops are recorded and will be available on our website within 24-48 hours after the workshop finishes airing.  We recommend still registering for each workshop you will watch recorded so that you have a ticket as proof of attendance, and so that we know you are participating in the event!  We understand scheduling conflicts, heavy work loads, and vacations, but if possible we recommend attending the live workshops as your schedule allows.  Attending live gives you an opportunity to ask the presenters questions while they are presenting, network with other storm water professionals, and be part of the event as it's happening.

Q: Who are these workshops geared towards?

A: We have workshops that are geared towards individuals working in the construction, industrial, municipal, or storm water consulting sectors.  Whether you are new to the industry, or been working with storm water for years, this event has training or continuing education opportunities for you.

Q: How much does it cost to attend?

A: This event is completely free!  It doesn't cost anything to attend or to host a workshop.
